Robert J Levering, 79, of Herndon, PA, passed away Saturday, July 9th, peacefully, at his residence. Robert was born in Little Britain Twp, Lancaster County on April 19, 1932, a son of the late Ruby (Hall) and Jacob Levering. He was the husband of Shirley Levering. He served in the U.S. Marines in the Korean War from (1951-1954). He was a member of the American Legion, Herndon and the Herndon Fire Co, Herndon. He worked as a mechanic at ALCOA Lancaster.,
Robert is survived by his wife Shirley, a daughter, Deborah Jones, of Cave City, KY; Robert is also survived by a sister, Joan Conrad, of Lancaster, PA. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sister
