Robert J. Priebe, 71, of Sullivan, died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Kingston in Ashland, after a several month illness.

Robert was born October 27, 1940 in Amherst, Ohio, son of the late, Robert Henry & Darla (Skidmore) Priebe. He lived in Parma, where he graduated from Parma High School in 1958 and moved to the Sullivan area in 1976. He owned and operated Priebe Apple Acres in Sullivan.

Robert is survived by his wife of 49 years, Andrea (Hricik) Priebe; children, Robert L. Priebe of Sullivan, Rachelle R. Priebe Brown of Sullivan and Scott P. Priebe of Parma; 2 brothers, William and Richard Priebe; and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Private services will be held.
