Robert L. Kennell (Larry), 59, of the 4700 block of Krick Street, Norfolk, VA, passed away January 12, 2012, in his home. He was born at Langley Air Force Base, Bermuda, and was a longtime employee of Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was a member of the Willis V. Fentress Masonic Lodge #296 and Memorial Spiritual Church. He was loved by all. He is survived by his parents, Alfred and Eleanor Kennell; five sisters, Laura Fazendin, Linda Gatling, Diana Schompert, Mary Truman and Teresa Kennell; and a host of nieces, nephews and very close friends. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
