After many years of dedicated services he retired, and later relocated to Florence, South Carolina. Robert leaves to cherished his precious memories: two daughters, Melba Cassandra Brown and Hope Burgess both of Bronx, NY; two sons, Samuel Robert Lee Burgess of Chester, SC and Richardson (Connie) Burgess of Woodlyn, PA; nine grandchildren; two great-grand children; his dear mother, Mrs. Cora P.
