Robert M. Campbell, 90, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Robert worked as a Security Officer with Allen County Commissioners Office for 15 years, retiring in 1978. He was a Mizpah Shinerer and Elder of Presbyterian Church for over 40 years. Robert loved his family and cherished his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Irene M. Campbell of Fort Wayne, sons, Steven (Loralei) Campbell of Indianapolis, Craig (Cheryl) Campbell of Fort Wayne, daughter, Cynthia Rodeheffer of Robins, IA, 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren . Robert was preceded in death by parents Willard and Luella Campbell, sister, Lois James, and brother, Donald Campbell. Service is 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with calling one hour prior with Dr. Ed Dykstra and Pastor Bill Hayworth officiating. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or First Presbyterian Church.
