Robert Michael Davis, 54, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, November 27, 2011 at his home.

Mike was a longtime employee of Kemet Electronics and currently was employed with Michelin North America.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Carmen Davis and son, Zack Davis, of the home; his mother, Pauline Davis, of Gaston, sister, Jinny Ballanger; brothers, Walter E. Davis, III and Jeffery Davis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Davis, Jr. and brother, Brian Keith Davis.

A funeral service will be 2pm, Thursday, December 1st at The Mackey Mortuary.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8pm at the mortuary.
