Robert R. Stetler, 76, of Graytown, Ohio, died Saturday, February 27, 2010, after a courageous battle with numerous health issues, in Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. Bob was born in Cleveland, OH on April 21, 1933 to Blair and Martha (Milbrot) Stetler. He worked for Libby-Owens-Ford Co. for many years and retired on January 1, 1986. Bob was a strong Christian man and member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Elliston, OH. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Port Clinton, OH and the Eagles Lodge in Fremont, OH. He loved his family and enjoyed NASCAR racing, along with being an avid Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Football fan. Survivors include his children, Sheila (Larry) Johnson of Millbury, OH, Denise (Sean) McCarthy of Oregon, OH and Robert (Holly Garcia) Stetler of Sylvania, OH. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Frank, Jr., Summer, and Wyatt, and Niece, Sharon (Woody) Fragoso, nephew, John Stetler, along with great nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Blair Stetler, and granddaughter, Tasha Marie Gander. A funeral service for Bob will be conducted at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in the Trinity United Church of Christ, Elliston, OH. Visitation will be from 9AM until the service at 11. Interment will be in the Elliston Cemetery. The family suggests memorials in Bob's name be made to the church or the donor's choice. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St. Genoa, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
