Robert Rene Funck, Jr. passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the age of 56. Survivors include his stepmother, Lou Elkins; stepfather, Sidney Elkins; siblings, Joseph Funck, Albert Vance, Wallace Vance and Rita A. Cook; and step-siblings, Sidney M., Robert N., David A., and Russell O. Elkins and Rebecca N. Magner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert R. Funck, Sr. and Betty Hopkins Funck; and his brothers, Lawrence W, Vance, Andrew Funck and Dennis M. Funck
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
