Robert W. Phillips, 91, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in Fort Wayne. Born in Michigan City, IN, Bob graduated from Purdue University and was a superintendent of building and construction with AEP for 38 years, retiring in 1983. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and member of the Professional Engineers Association. He enjoyed golfing, music and all sports. Surviving are his loving wife of 66 years Bernice Phillips of Fort Wayne, daughters, Candy (Jack) Caster of Columbia City, and Debbie (Tom) Miller of Cromwell, grandchildren, Stacy, Scott and Flemming and great-grandchildren, Zoe and Danny. Graveside service is 3 pm, Friday May 25, 2012 at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 W. Main Street with Rev. Frank Sitcler officiating. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home.
