Hopefully, you will receive this note, and know that you also have my condolances at this time too. Since they were both quite elderly, I presume you have maybe made all necessary arrangements for any remaining property transfers long ago. If needed, I still have the original wills. We usually recommend filing the will at court, just to preserve it if ever needed, since the law requires it be entered at court within three years of death, in order to be valid. The courts do not charge to file it, and it is just a safe thing to do, just in case some other asset later surfaces. If I can answer any questions, please feel free to call me at 260-426-2889.
