Robert E. "Bob" Whaley, 61, passed away suddenly on Aug. 5, 2011, while vacationing with his wife in Yellowstone National Park. Survived by his beloved wife, Barbara A. Whaley; and son, Tyler M. Whaley. Bob was born and raised in Pueblo. He received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. His love of the outdoors took him on hunting and fishing expeditions throughout the western United States and Canada. Among his many hobbies were dog training and horsemanship. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Rev. Fr. William Gleeson officiating. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Yellowstone Park Foundation through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.
