Robert Winton Utter "BOB" "Life's rough in the Fast Lane" Our wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on his terms November 26, 2010 surrounded by his lovely wife and family at his home. Bob was born in Havre, Montana on August 12, 1939 to Winton and Lorena (Dini) Utter. Married Sharon Emerson on February 14, 1964. He was proudly employed at the Union Pacific Railroad and retired in 2001 after 42 years of dedicated service. Bob enjoyed camping, hunting, and ATVing in the outdoors with his beloved family. Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon, daughter, Michelle (John) VanKomen, son, Kurt (Kathy) Utter, grandchildren: Mikelle, Kaitlin, Nicole, Devon and Cove; mother Dini Utter, sister, Peggy (Jerry) Johnson and many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a special father and mother-in-law, John and Jackie Benson. He is preceded in death by his father, Winton Utter. The family wishes to thank Bill Pazos, the staff, and fellow patients of the University of Utah Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program for their love, friendship and support. A special thanks to Harmony Hospice for their unconditional support. A gathering is planned for Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, UT.
