Roberta "Bobbie" Rowley, 81, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. A private burial will be held at a later date at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan or the Lincoln Township Library. Roberta was born September 10, 1930 in Berrien Springs, MI to Walter & Letha (Baker) Hefter. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School. She married Arden Rowley. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and going to local sporting events.

Roberta is survived by her sister-in-laws Marvis Rowley of Watervliet, Erma White of Watervliet, Doris (Bill) Stembaugh of Paw Paw and Sheila Price of Winter Haven, FL; niece Linda (Charles) Hadley of Hartford; nephews Greg (Nancy) Peterson of Hudsonville, MI and Keith (Tommi) Peterson of Burlington, NJ. Roberta was preceded in death by her parent, husband, sister Helen Peterson and nephew Steven Peterson.
