GRAFTON: Roberta M. (Brown) Robie, 82, of 11 Leland Street passed away September 30, 2011 after a short illness. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years Curtis B. Robie, her two sons Curt O. Robie of Middlefield MA and Stephen B. Robie of Northborough, her four grandchildren James, Christopher, Jessica, Ian and her great granddaughter Brooke Robie. She was born May 26, 1929 in Worcester the daughter of the late Willard B. and Theresa M. (Berry) Brown and was a longtime Grafton resident. "Bobbie" as she was affectionately known to many graduated with The Class of 1947 from Grafton High School and then attended Emerson College in Boston. She then became a stewardess with Trans World Airlines until her marriage to Curt in 1952. She and her husband then raised their family in Grafton taking great joy in times spent with the children and grandchildren. Bobbie also enjoyed growing her flower and vegetable gardens at her home for many years. The family asks that you remember her with memorial donations in lieu of flowers to The Salvation Army, American Red Cross or a church of the donor's choice. Funeral Arrangements Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of THE RONEY FUNERAL HOME in North Grafton.
