Robin Patrice Simpson was born on October 18, 1968 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, daughter of Martha Price Simpson and Bobby Mack Simpson. Robin lived in Roselle, New Jersey until she completed Kindergarten. She then moved with her family to Hillside, New Jersey where she was educated in the Hillside Public School System. She graduated from Hillside High School in 1986 and had been a Varsity Cheerleader for the Girls Basketball team. Ms. Simpson was employed as a Dock Tech Clerk at Jersey City BMC in Jersey City, New Jersey for 17 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Roselle, New Jersey. She enjoyed playing with the bowling league of the church for 5 years. Robin Patrice Simpson departed this life on Friday, November 16, 2012 in Hillside, New Jersey at the age of 44. She was predeceased by her father, Bobby Mack Simpson. She leaves to cherish fond memories, a daughter, Ashley Smith and a son, Andrew Simpson; her mother, Martha Simpson of Hillside, NJ; 2 brothers, David Simpson of Budd Lake, NJ and Dwayne Simpson of East Orange, NJ and a host of other relatives and friends.
