Rodney Webster Moore, 61, formerly of Karns, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford, IL.
He was born June 8, 1947 in Oak Ridge, the son of Emmett and Virginia Johnstone Moore, who survive him.
He graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1965 and soon after graduation joined the US Air Force. Mr. Moore worked in sales.
He enjoyed being around his family and grandchildren, in addition to fishing and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by brother, Mike Moore, May 4, 2005.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by

Son, Shane Moore and wife Edee of Dryden, VA,
Daughter, Dawn Barker and husband Darrell of McDonald, TN, Brothers, Larry Moore and wife Vickie of Greeneville, TN and David Moore of Knoxville,
Sisters, Rebecca Wolfe and husband Jack of Huntsville, AL and Patricia Burgess and husband Jim of Knoxville, Sister-in-law, Cindy Moore of Louisville, KY, 12 Grandchildren, Demie, Dane`, DeLane, Darbie Lee, Dain, Daylie, Dobson, Dandle, Delight and Dabney Moore and Darrah and Drake Barker and numerous extended family.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 29, 2009 from 6-8pm at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 8pm with Rev. Larry Moore officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday, 10am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family asks that any memorials be in the form of contributions to Grace Lutheran Church, 131 W.
