Roger A. Provencher, 53, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Elliot Hospital, in Manchester.

Born in Manchester, NH, on September 3, 1954, he was the son of the late, Arthur and Violet (Paris) Provencher. Mr. Provencher was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He graduated from Memorial High School, with the class of 1972.

Mr. Provencher was employed for 25 years, as a fabricator at General Electric Company.

He was a longtime communicant of St. Augustin Church, in Manchester.

He was an avid Red Sox fan, and enjoyed motorcycling.

Mr. Provencher was a veteran having served in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam Era.

Members of his family include; his 2 sons, David J. Provencher, of Manchester, Roger A. Provencher, of Seabrook, NH; 1 brother, Arthur F. Provencher, Jr., of Manchester; 1 niece, several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

There are no callings hours. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Augustin Church, 383 Beech Street, in Manchester, on Saturday, June 28, at 1:00 P.M.

It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The Salvation Army, 121 Cedar Street, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Mr. Provencher.

The Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, in Manchester, assisted the family with arrangements.
