ROGER ARSENEAU
Roger Arseneau, 63, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Fitchburg, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009, in Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born October 22, 1945 in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of the late Marie Cormier. Roger moved to Massachusetts at the age of 17 and lived in Leominster and Fitchburg before moving to Florida in 2005. He was a master craftsman in all phases of carpentry. He enjoyed hockey and was a member of the Old Timers Hockey League. He was a son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, hockey coach, avid NASCAR fan, and friend of Bill W. Roger is survived by his former wife, Rosella, and their 4 children. Ronnie and his companion, Lynn Yarussi of Fitchburg, Ricky and his wife, Michelle (Sorette) of Vero Beach, Rachelle and her husband Chris (Dermody) of Vero Beach, and Randy and his wife, Megan (Quinn) of Leominster; nine grandchildren, Tabitha and her husband, Franky, Bryan, Isabella, Estelle, Grace, Kate, Erin, Lindsey, and Molly; and three great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Emelia, and Lilliana. He also leaves his friend, Kathy Paris of Vero Beach. ARSENEAU A funeral mass was held on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Saint Cecilia's Church, Leominster, MA. Memorial contributions may be made in Roger's name to The Stephen E. and Catherine Pappas Center for Neuro-Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital, 165 Cambridge Street, Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114.
