On Monday, October 17, 2011, Roger James Folstrom of Silver Spring, MD of Myelofibrosis. Beloved husband of Jeanne C. Folstrom; father of James Roger (Jill) Folstrom, Elizabeth Ann Folstrom (Jamie Froman), Sarah Marie (Carlos) Zamudio and the late John Gregory Folstrom; grandfather of Carina, Rachel, Jacob, Jonathan, Emily and Luke; brother of Ruth (Joe) Partington, Doris (Jerry) O'Keeffe and Jeanne Anderson. Also survived by his extended family of numerous in-laws, nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mayo Clinic for Myelofibrosis Research, Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 200 First St. SW, Rochester, MN 55905.
