Roger W. Younts, 60, Liberty, Missouri passed away suddenly November 30, 2011. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, December 5 at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, Liberty. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs.
Roger was born November 27, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ira O. and Geraldine Younts. He was a graduate of Liberty High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. For 40 years, Roger was a hair dresser. He loved cutting hair, his family, his pets and collecting antiques. Roger was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Survivors include sister, Carolyn Moon and husband Kenny, Holt, MO; brother, Jerry Younts and wife Karen, Oak Grove, MO; his beloved nieces and nephews and their families, a host of cherished friends and his special dog companion, Ginger.
