Roland E. "Buck" Stevenson, departed this life on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Husband of the late Ruth R. Stevenson; father of Samuel D. Stevenson (Michelle "Missy") of Delaware, Delores A. Williams (the late Freddie) of New Jersey, Antonie E. Stevenson (Carla) of Delaware, Roland E. Stevenson Jr. (Felicia "Kim") of Delaware, and Ruth R. Ball (Gerald) of New Jersey; brother of Rose E. Henry, Mary Gadsden (Robert), Charles "PeeWee" Stevenson and Arnold "Sonny" Stevenson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters-in-law, 4 brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Memorial Service 11 am Thursday, June 28, at Mt. Pisgah UAME Church, 516 Old Summit Bridge Rd., Middletown, DE 19709; visitation 10:30 - 11 am; burial, Mt. Pisgah UAME Church Cemetery.
