Ronald Jay Riccetti June 24, 1946 – February 18, 2011 Ronald Jay Riccetti, 64, of Wimberley, TX, passed away Friday, February 18, 2011. He was born on June 24, 1946, in Seattle, Washington, to John and Renee Riccetti. In 1970, he married Gail Barr, with whom he remained married until death did they part. Ron was educated in the Seattle Public Schools, graduating in 1964 from Cleveland High School; he then went on to graduate from Highline Community College. Ron will be best remembered for his generous spirit, happy outlook and love of all animals, especially dogs. Upon retiring Ron and Gail moved to Wimberley in January 2007. Ron adapted to his new residence quickly and loved the warm dry climate of the Texas Hill Country. He especially loved the many festivals and social events in Wimberley. His favorite event was the annual Wimberley Pie Social, which he participated by entering a pie in the annual contest. He is survived by his wife, Gail, older brother, John Michael Riccetti of Foster City, CA, nephew Eric Riccetti of San Diego, CA, niece, Gina Saville Riccetti of Fredicksburg, VA, grand nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Cheryl Barr Kellogg, brother-in-law, Keith Kellogg both of Bothell WA and brother-in-law, Gary Barr and life partner, Mike Butler of Wimberley, TX. A private memorial service celebrating Ron's life will be held April 9, 2011, in Wimberley.
