Ronald L. "Gator" Flamont, 63, of the 2200 block of Rueben Street, Virginia Beach, VA, passed away September 20, 2011. Gator was born July 4, 1948. He was an Electrician and Pipefitter. He is survived by his wife, June Flamont; three children, Ronald L. Flamont, II and wife Kristina of Virginia Beach, VA and Frances and Wyatt Flamont, both of Orlando, FL; his mother, Ethel Flamont of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Cody, Destini, Danielle, and Zoey; a brother, William K. Flamont of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Sharon Hard of Orlando, FL and Brenda Hasbroook of Charlotte, NC; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ronald's name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
