Ron M. Williams was born in Bend, Oregon to parents Audrey Hardesty and Chris Williams. Ron moved to Portland after graduating from Bend High School in 1979. He drove to Portland from Bend at 18 years old and went right to work for a company called Garden Products. He then started driving a truck for McLane. He worked in transportation for a total of 32 years. Ron very much enjoyed fishing, golfing, dirt bike riding, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He truly loved helping his family and friends with anything they needed done from building decks, landscaping, to fixing roofs. He was quite the handyman. Ron had such a great sense of humor, he loved to laugh and make people laugh. Because of his wonderful and unique personality, Ron made friends easily wherever he went. He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Williams; mother, Audrey Hardesty; father, Chris Williams; brothers, Craig Williams, David Hardesty, and Brian Hardesty; sons, Travis Williams and Jacob Williams; daughter, Meghan Williams; their families; and many friends. He will be truly missed by all of those fortunate enough to have known him. A memorial service will be held at Sellwood Baptist Church.
