Ronald Harold Parrish, 73, of Westminster, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Lorien of Mount Airy, following a brief illness.  Born September 26, 1934 in Phoenix, Ariz., he was the son of Virginia Patterson Parrish of Uniontown, PA and the late Harold Evans Parrish.  He was the husband of Thelma Jones Parrish, who predeceased him in 1979.  Mr. Parrish was formerly employed with the National Security Agency for 31 years, retiring in 1989.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and enjoyed buying and raising animals for his grandchildren.  He and his wife were foster parents, who opened their home to numerous foster children.  Surviving, in addition to his mother, are daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Donald Lambert of Mt. Airy and Kim and Terry Grecco of Leesburg, Fla.; sons and daughters-in-law, Lance and Talena Parrish and Clay and Victoria Parrish, all of Westminster; 13 grandchildren, Dana and Jacob, Kelly, Lauren, Joanna, Chaz, Levy, Seth, Stephanie, Bradlee, Amber, Megan, Josh, Justin; and great-grandson, Logan.  He was predeceased by daughter, Valerie Parrish in 1962.  A funeral service will be 10 a.m.  Saturday, May 31 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 595 Johahn Dr., Westminster, with Bishop Jeffrey Cook officiating.  Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Taneytown.  The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor Friday, May 30 from 6 to 9 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908, Eldersburg, MD 21784.
