Ronald J. Tschannen, 52, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Ft. Wayne, Ron graduated from South Side and had worked for Ft. Wayne Community Schools. He is survived by his daughters, Adriane and Sarah Tschannen; sons Joshua, Jacob, and Brandon Tschannen; four grandchildren; father Melvin (Carole) Tschannen, brothers David (Pat) Beckman, John (Anita) Tschannen, and Mark Tschannen; sisters Susan Tschannen, Kathy (Glen) Harpel, and Cheryl Tschannen. Ron was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Beckman. "He always knew how to make people smile and laugh and his kids were his life." Mass of Christian Resurrection will be Mon at 10:00am at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold Street with calling one hour prior to service, with Father Joe Gaughan officiating. Visitation on Sunday, November 22, 2009, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Avenue with a Rosary at 6 PM.
