Ronni Hope Michels

Ronni was the first girl I ever kissed. We were just kids. I was about 12 years old at the time, she was probably 11. We kissed in the cardboard "clubhouse" in my garage.

We grew up on the same block and spent many days after school, evenings and weekends as kids playing games in the shared driveway behind our homes. Those were such great times.

Ronni was an amazing person. She was loving and caring and very, very funny. I have so many incredible memories with Ronni, from the first time I met her up until the day before she died! The last time I spoke to her, she told me I needed to get to Payless for BOGO! I think about this everytime I get sad because this was such a Ronni comment(we loved shopping together-but only for bargains)! She is missed dearly by myself, my husband and my 3 children.

We are left after the dust settles, with the longing for the person we lost. But our memories keep us from falling apart. If we could find a big rewind button we could go back to easier times when we were all together. Down the shore, on the phone, in the car ... laughing. All my love goes to Sharyn and her family as they climb thru every day without their beautiful Ronni ... which is as easy as climbing a mountain without your legs.

Ronni and I were such wonderful friends in high school. She was fun-loving and sweet and just so much fun to be around. We had many sleepovers and fun times together. I will always remember her wonderful laugh and beautiful personality.

When Ronni was in the hospital, she would always go on IM to talk to me. We would talk about really random things, and she would always ask me how my scrapbooking was doing, because she was always a big fan of it herself. Her wallpaper and icons where teacher themed, and we would basically have really good conversations. Before she passed, I made her a scrapbook of my own dedicated just to her. It had about 15 pages of
