Rosa-Maria Jefferson, 73, of the 1300 block of Stringfellow Court, Virginia Beach, VA, passed away January 3, 2012, in her home. A native of Kingston, Jamaica, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Ruth Ramirez. She retired from Farm Fresh as Salad Bar Manager. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth M. Mitchell and husband Frank, and her son, Michael L. Jefferson, both of Virginia Beach, VA; the father of her children, Lee R. Jefferson of Chesapeake, VA; her brother, Manny Ramirez of Canada; and two grandchildren, Joseph and Jace. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Donations may be made to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
