Rosaria Carmela Magnone Terramani, 66, of Weirton, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 in the Kindred Hospital, Oakdale, PA. Born July 15, 1945 in Steubenville, OH, she was a daughter of Mary Contumelio Magnone of Weirton and the late Frank Magnone. Mrs. Terramani served for over 25 years as an English and Religion teacher for the 6, 7 and 8th grades at St. Joseph School. After her retirement from St. Joseph, she served as a substitute teacher throughout the Ohio Valley. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church where she formerly served as a cantor and the Christian Mothers. She belonged to several card clubs and always looked forward to "game night with the girls". In addition to her mother, Rosaria is survived by her husband Luigi Terramani whom she married July 11, 1975; daughter Regina Baker and her husband Jason; brother B. Thomas Magnone; sister Angeline Veltri and her husband Albert and grandchildren Alauna and Brodyn Baker all of Weirton. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 12 noon Monday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer will officiate. Entombment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, P. O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693 or American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
