Roscoe Conklin Russell, born in 1930, at 7:26 p.m. in White Deer, TX. (He said the clock was hard to read (upside down), to Vera and Roscoe Conklin Russell. In Roscoe's own words "I do not like the other obits that I read. This one is just for fun." If you knew Roscoe, you were "lucky". If you were his friend, you are "blessed". Roscoe was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lahoma; wives, Emily and Donna; and son, Sidney. He is survived by daughter, Bonnie; sister, Imogene; brothers, Rex and Jim; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. A committal service will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2011, 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
