HALIFAX- Rose A. Lenker, age 85, of 321 Ridge Road passed away on Monday, March 14 at her residence. She was born in Jackson Twp., PA, the daughter of the late Samuel and Sara Keiter Chubb. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Fisherville and the Peters Mt. CB Club. She was the widow of Harvey Lenker and also preceded in death a brother Nathan Weaver and granddaughters Angela Keiter and RaeAnn Keiter Boatman. Surviving are two sons Dean Deitrich and his wife Cindy of Halifax and Raymond Keiter, Sr. of Halifax, two daughters Nancy Rehn and her husband Gene, Sr. of Lewisberry and Betty Kissinger widow of Bruce of Gratz, two brothers Lee Weaver and his wife Rose and Guy Weaver and his wife Sandy all of Millersburg, two sisters Elsie Stroup widow of Clare of Halifax and Violet Murphy and her husband Carl of Mechanicsburg, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Friday, March 18 from 1-2 pm at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. Services will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax.
