Well it's been 1 year today and I cried all morning thinking of you....so much has happened in the past year. I am home with my parents now and the boys are of course with me, my divorce should be finalized sometime in January/February I am hoping. I know I made the right decision because I have never second guessed myself, just getting to this point took a lot longer than it should have. I hope you know we think

Well it's been 1 year today and I cried all morning thinking of you....so much has happened in the past year. I am home with my parents now and the boys are of course with me, my divorce should be finalized sometime in January/February I am hoping. I know I made the right decision because I have never second guessed myself, just getting to this point took a lot longer than it should have. I hope you know we think about you all the time. I have your picture in my room and Noah always says "theres great -grandma...she died right?" I am so grateful that you got to meet each of my boys and that they knew you, it will be a great honor to tell them all about you as they grow up. So Michael is now living in your house and it looks amazing, although I have to admit when I first walked into it after everything was taken down I had to go in the bathroom and cry because it was so upsetting to see that YOUR house was now gone but what Michael has done to it is beyond words. I hope he is happy there and lives there for many years!! Love you Grandma and I am going to try to get there to visit tomorrow XOXO

Tomorrow is your birthday and I am sitting here thinking of you and crying...it is almost 5 months since you have been gone. I went to your house the other day and was hoping to feel your presence but I didn't feel anything, maybe I was trying to hard? Who knows? The boys were there too looking around and Luke kept telling me that you died, I think my dad told him and he kept waving so maybe he saw

In this cold weather I can hear you saying to me "make sure those boys are bundled up if you have to go out, if not stay inside where it is warm" You were always so concerned about them! They miss you dearly and say a prayer about you every night, I am sure you hear them. They ask that you be their guardian angel and I have to fight the urge to cry because they are so sweet...write to you soon miss you xoxo

I always took for granted that you would be around and in the back of my mind I knew there was going to be that day you weren't. That day came upon me way to fast. I regret not calling you more often or visiting you more but you always told me it was "too cold to go out with those boys" or that "the ride was too long" etc...I shouldn't have listened to you, I should have visited more.

I think about you every day and cry. I talk to my dad on the phone and cry when I hang up because I know there is a huge void in his life...you were his life. You know I was always proud to tell people that you, my grandmother was 100 years old and living on her own and was doing quite fine! People would be amazed! They couldn't believe it and my boys...oh my little boys they pray to and for you every night it is really quite cute. I miss you grandma xoxo

We are so sorry to hear about Rose's passing.Please know that you are in our thoughts and our prayers . The times that we saw Rose she was always a ball of fire and very entertaining. May your memories comfort you all at this sad time.

You never went to Nunis' house thinking you would spend any private time with her, the door would open and half the neighborhood would "pop in".
You never went empty handed -but you always left with more than you came with. And if you were lucky, another family member would be there so that you could be entertained by their bantering. We were so spoiled-we had her for so long. She was so funny and entertaining. She could tell a joke

We were so spoiled-we had her for so long. She was so funny and entertaining. She could tell a joke like nobodys business-and right when you started to get comfortable she'd tell you to go home. And don't think you will ever get the last word in.....she hangs up the phone in the middle of your conversation when she is done.
.......But what a lesson in generosity. She fed the neighborhood and taught many of us how to cook.
................we sure are going to miss her!
