Rose Diane Slaven, 90, of port St. Lucie, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Slaven was born in Manhattan, NY. She had been a resident for the past thirty two years coming from Staten Island, NY.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Slaven.

She was one of the founding member of Highpoint Community Church and also a member of the Orchid Club both in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Survivors include one daughter, Marie Romano of Port St. Lucie, FL; five sons, Paul Colletti of Port St. Lucie, FL; Thomas Colletti of Boynton Beach, FL; Anthony Colletti of Port St. Lucie, FL; Robert Colletti of St. Augustine, FL; John Slaven of Port St. Lucie, FL; twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Friday, May 27, 2011 at Forest Hills-Byrd, Young & Prill Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, FL, and Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm, at Highpoint Community Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.

A Funeral Service of Christian burial will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Highpoint Community Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery in Ft. Pierce, FL.
