Miss Rose M. O'Rourke

Miss Rose M. O'Rourke, of Belmont, died suddenly on November 9, 2009 at the Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge. She was 86 years old.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Hugh F. & Anne E. (Regan) O’Rourke. 

Miss O'Rourke was retired from the Cambridge School Department, where she worked for many years in the Personnel Office.

She was the sister of the late Anne T. Daley, Hugh F. O’Rourke, Mary A. Procopio & Dorothy A. O’Rourke. Cousin of the late Marie A. Hyde. Niece of the late Teresa A. Regan.

Her funeral will be held from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mount Auburn Street, (Route 16) Watertown on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 8:00 A.M. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 124 Common Street, Belmont at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4:00-6:00 P.M.. Interment to follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
