Rose Marie Nelson, 76, of Hot Springs Village, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011 at home. Born February 13, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Julia Kronenberg Burke, she was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Teen Challenge, Arkansas AEC and the Women’s Guild.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Nelson of Hot Springs Village whom she married June 5 1955; one son, Carl W. Nelson of West Palm Beach, Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Marie and John Benda of Naperville, Illinois and Susan (Jaris) and Leonard Swinehart of Walnut Shade, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Eva Burke of Indiana and Mary Burke of Illinois; five grandchildren, C. J. Jaris and Mike Jaris, both of Walnut Shade, Missouri, Joseph Benda, James Benda and Jennifer Benda, all of Naperville, Illinois.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2011 with services at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Hot Springs Village with Reverend Henry Behling officiating. Inurnment of the cremated remains following the service will be at the Faith Memorial Gardens in Hot Springs Village.
