Rose Pagan Zemke, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Age 85 years. Daughter of the late Cesar Pineda and Dolores Meza. Wife of the late Walter Zemke. Loving mother of Rene Pagan (Kellie), Tony Pagan (Missy), Lolita Perron (Peroy), Victoria Taylor (Joe), and Armand Zemke (Carla). Sister of Dalia Giron. Survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her children, Carlos Pagan, Laura Smith, and Emile Zemke.
Rose loved and enjoyed cooking, dancing, shopping, and being with her family. She was "The Best" mother, grandmother, and a friend to many, and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM.
