MAURY, ROSE SASEK
Age 92, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away December 10 in Milford, Nebraska. Born in Leadville, Colorado, she moved to New Mexico in the 1940s. She is survived by her two children, Robert Maury and his wife, Glenda, of Milford, Nebraska, and and their children, Angela and her husband, Tyson Teeter and their children, Sarah and Rachel; Cynthia and Thurman Mullet, and their children, Brynn, Ashley and Macy; Doug and Elizabeth Maury, and their children, Mikayla and Kyle. She is also survived by daughter, Linda Prescott and her husband, Patrick of Albuquerque and their children. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Edward W. Maury, in 2003. The couple were longtime members of Parkview Baptist Church, now Christ Church of Albuquerque, where Rose was active in the Woman's Missionary Union organization. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at French, University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. A service will be held the next morning, Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at French, University Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Thurman Mullet, Tyson Teeter, Doug Maury, Edward Prescott, Patrick Prescott and Leroy Rex.
