Rosemary Tennant, 75, of Colliers, WV, died Friday January 20, 2012, in the Lifeline Hospital, Wintersville, OH. Born on November 30, 1936, in Wetzel County WV, Rosemary was a daughter of the late Clarence and Savilla Wines Loy. She was the Loving wife of her late husband, John Edward Tennant who went on to be with the Lord on August 2, 2004; Also preceding her in death were brothers, Cecil, Harold and Jack Loy and sisters, Garnet Rush, Ruby Brown and Helen Wood. Rosemary was a homemaker and a member of The First Church of the Nazarene, in Weirton. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her three sons, Edward T. Tennant (Brenda) of Follansbee, WV; Michael E. Tennant (Judy) of Steubenville, OH; and John R. Tennant (Nina) of Colliers, WV; a daughter, Christy Kay Lucas (John) of Weirton, WV; two brothers, Eugene Loy of Dallas, TX; and Donald Loy of Moundsville, WV; two sisters, Betty Warren of Canton, TX; and Shirley Lyles of Dallas, TX; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 6-8 PM, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday. Reverend Vaughn Davis and Reverend Dana Snodgrass will preside. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Colliers, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to The First Church of the Nazarene, 475 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062.
