Rosie’s life began on May 14, 1939 in Wyatt, MO, the daughter of Bennie and Viola (Lloyd) Robinson.

She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Dowagiac.

Rosie’s family includes her daughter Turina Rose Jackson of Athens, OH, grandchildren DaBresha Unique Clark of Athens, OH and DeVon Maurice Jackson of Okemos, MI, sisters Henrietta Robinson of Jefferson City, MO, Ernestine Pitts of Detroit and Aster Wade of South Bend and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Rosie passed away at the Cardinal Nursing Home in South Bend on Saturday October 24, 2009.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and eight brothers.

Her family will receive friends on Friday from noon until 1 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church in Dowagiac where her home going service will begin at 1 p.m. led by Reverend Tyrone Pace. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac.
