Mr. Ross Harlan Ritthaler

Ross H. Ritthaler,

79, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at his home in Dallas, Texas. He was born October 11, 1932, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Otto W. and Marie Goering Ritthaler. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1950, Hutchinson Community College in 1952, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Wichita State University. He was a Systems Analyst for Atlantic Richfield Company, Dallas, for 50 (?) years. On January 27, 1979, he married Beverly Bryan. She survives.
Other survivors include step-daughters, Robbie (Don) Blandin, Carrollton, Texas; Ginger (Allan) Walling, McKinney, Texas; Terry (Tim) Tomerlin, Conroe, Texas; 5 step-grandchildren, and 7 step-great¬grandchildren; a sister, Lois Schlickau, Haven; 2 nieces, Susan (Curtis) Russell, Sugar City, Colorado, Nancy (Timothy) Bernard, Wichita, 2 nephews, Bruce (Tracy) Schlickau, Hutchinson, James (Charlene) Schlickau, Haven, and 10 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wilburn. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, Dallas, with visitation on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
