Mrs. Roxie L. Wetzel, 80, of Herndon, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010 peacefully at her residence. Roxie was born in Jordan Twp, Hebe, on September 3, 1930, the daughter of the late Warren and Mary (Weist) Leitzel. She was the wife of Donald Wetzel. Married January 6, 1951. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church Herndon, PA . She was a long time employee of at Milton Shoe Factory Herndon, PA.. Roxie was a member of the Idella Rebekah Lodge 58, Lower Northumberland Senior Citizen Center Kitchen Band.

Roxie is survived by her husband Donald Wetzel, two sons Jeffry husband of Luann Wetzel of Herndon, PA; Timothy husband of Hope Wetzel of Herndon, PA. Roxie is also survived by a sister, Marlene Matter of Herndon, PA. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Roxie was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters

Friends are invited to call Saturday 9-11 AM. at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow,PA. Religious Service at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, PA, at 11AM on Saturday, November 6th, with Rev. Fred Faust officiating. Interment at Herndon Cemetery, Herndon, PA.
