Roy J. Hughes, age 91, of 400 West Washington Street, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 10:09 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2011, at his home. Roy was born on March 9, 1920, in Plymouth, to Walter and Ethel (Personett) Hughes. He was retired from the Plymouth Foundry and the Marshall County Highway Department. He also worked part-time for Dr. Connell, doing landscaping. Roy lived most his adult life in the Plymouth and Argos areas. He spent his childhood in Bremen, Indiana. Roy is survived by his sons, Robert (Nancy) Hughes of Plymouth and Jim Hughes of Plymouth; his sister, Mary Bottorff; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Hughes; and his sister, Helen Hughes.
