Mr. Roy R. Warren, 64, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Friday January 7, 2011 at La Porte Hospital. He was born December 15, 1946 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Jacob Warren and Thelma (Jones) Warren. He has lived in the La Porte area most all of his life. Roy was owner and operator of Roy's Auto Body. He was a member of Rooster and Hens Bowling League. Roy was an antique car enthusiast and he lived hunting and fishing. On June 23, 1990, in La Porte, he married Terri A. Schrier Warren who survives. He is also survived by his son - Eric (Chrissy) Warren of Michigan City, IN; daughter - Carrie (Jeff) Kennedy of Michigan City, IN; step-son - Aaron (Melinda) Stacy of La Porte, IN; 7 Grandchildren - Andrew, Aiden, Ashley, Wyatt, Ty, Dylan, Tyler; 2 brothers - Allen (Carolyn) Warren of La Porte, IN, Gene (Phillip Sala) Warren of La Porte, IN; and a sister - Kay (Mike) Czanderna of La Porte, IN. Roy was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Tuesday, January 11, 2011 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Wednesday, January 12, 2011 9:00 am until time of the service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday January 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Interment will follow at the Salem Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana.
