Roy Robert Cioletti

I just want to share my sympathy. Dr. Cioletti was my pediatrician from the day I was born 1982 and also my childrens pediatrician. He is the only Dr. that I ever trusted and am sorry that this happened to such a wonderful caring person. Sincerely....Anthony and Damian Benavides and Tiffany Cormier

We thank the family for their constant sacrifice and to the sons, for sharing their dad with all of us.

Dr. Ciolotti was our family physician to 6 of our 11 children before moving from Manassas. He taught me so much more about life than imparting medical information or childcare. He was a mentor to us as new parents and a friend. He served our community quite well and will be sorely missed.

Nearly 23 years ago, while pregnant with our first child, we had our initial parent/doctor consultation to determine whether or not Dr. C was the right guy to do the job of caring for our children. Dr. Cioletti has been the pediatrician for all 5 of our children. Nearly 23 years ago, while pregnant with our first child, we had our initial parent/doctor consultation to determine whether or not Dr. C was the right guy to do the job of caring for our children. While sitting in his office interviewing him, his phone rang and it was his wife informing him that one of the boys had fallen out of a tree and needed to go to the hospital. Instantly, Dr. Cioletti switched roles. He went from doctor to father right before our eyes. What a privilege to see that. We had no problem making our decision after that display of fatherly concern.

Every office visit was a treat. The wait didn't really matter because you knew once you got to the back with Dr. C you may as well be the only patient in the house. From his scribbles on the exam table paper to his light-hearted interfacing with the kids, he was the BEST doctor in the world.

Our 2nd oldest son, now nearly 21, just graduated from Marine boot camp. I was going to take him by this week to see Dr. C. He loved to see Brandon's progress because Brandon was one of his tallest patients at 6'9". Unfortunately we missed our opportunity. Our family feels like we've lost a friend, not merely a doctor.

My deepest condolences to the family of this wonderful doctor. I have fond memories of him taking good care of my children when they were younger. I'll never forget his kindness and great sense of humor.

There was a time when I was very concerned about the well being of my grandson, and Dr Cioletti came to my office during his lunch hour, to look at some pictures of him and talk with me. He didn't have to do that, but it is the kind of man he was. He put my mind and heart at ease, and I will never forget the kindness he showed that day to a virtual stranger. He is greatly missed!

Dr. Cioletti was our son's doctor and we only got to know him briefly over the last 3 years. He was a wonderful person full of caring. He was a wonderful doctor always full of good humor and there for whatever questions we had about our son's health. He will be greatly missed. No other doctor could or ever will fill his shoes. Dr. Cioletti was such an important part of our children's lives. We moved here 26 years ago and began seeing Dr. Cioletti at that time, shortly after he had moved to join Dr. Mitchell's practice. While our older children have finished college, married and moved on, we still have a 17 year old at home. So in a way we had not stopped seeing Dr. Cioletti.

While our older children have finished college, married and moved on, we still have a 17 year old at home. So in a way we had not stopped seeing Dr. Cioletti.

He saw us through the normal to more involved childhood illnesses. Reassuring both child and parent alike. He was a serious medical doctor, a caring family counselor, and understanding individual, yet he had a sense of humor that left us smiling and often times put things in perspective.

Over the years we shared stories about our older children and I know he was very proud of his sons.

Dr. Cioletti will be greatly missed by the community, his colleagues and his patients. We feel we have lost a personal friend too. But the greatest loss will be to you, his family.

Thank you for being the dedicated family that allowed him to be the dedicated Doctor he was.

Our children have been with the practice for 24 years. Dr. Roy was always there for us. He was a wonderful person who always had time for his patients. So many stories and memories. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family. The Thompson's
