Mrs. Ruby Mae Causey McGee, age 73, of Milner, GA passed away October 31, 2011. Mrs. McGee was born in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late Oran Marvette Causey and Mabel Delila Morgan Causey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Roosevelt McGee in 1999 and several siblings. Mrs. McGee was known for her loving personality who was always helping and being a best friend to all. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling. Survivors are her children, Christine Shelnut of McDonough, Rosalind Lightfoot of Milner, Richard McGee (Kimberly) of Riverdale and Michael McGee of McDonough; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Maddox, several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Funeral service for Mrs. McGee will be Wednesday, November 2, 2011 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Whitehurst officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7 – 9:00 PM.
