Mrs. Ruby Dilbeck, age 96 of Jackson, Georgia passed away October 18, 2011. She was born in Forsyth, Georgia to the late James W. and Lizzie Westry McGehee. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John Marion Dilbeck, Sr., and by a son, George L. Dilbeck. She was a member of Stark United Methodist Church in Jackson, a member of the Eastern Star, Civitan Club and the United Methodist Women. Survivors include her children, John Marion Dilbeck, Jr. of Senoia, James Madison Dilbeck of Sharpsburg, Elaine D. Kelly of Jackson, Gail Schell of Murrells Inlet, SC; sister, Evelyn Holbrook of Atlanta; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 21, 2011 at 10:30 AM from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Brock will officiate. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta at 1:00 PM. Friends may visit the family Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
