Ruby Patterson, 77, of 133 Ryan Street, went home to be with the Lord on September 5, 2011 after an extended illness.
Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late James and Lois Ellenburg. She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church and a present member of Siloam Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, T.M. Hendricks and P.A. Patterson, four sisters and three brothers.
Surviving are her two sons Tommy and John Hendricks; one grandson David Hendricks; two great grandchildren Lauren and Hayden Hendricks; one sister Louise Chappell and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her special friends Ashley Rholetter and her two girls Savannah and Jennifer whom Ruby loved very much.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 3:30pm in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2 – 3:30pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Siloam Baptist Church, Building Fund, 229 Siloam Road, Easley, SC 29642.
