Mr Russell Charles Larson

Russell Charles Larson Age 83 passed away on September 13, 2011 in Palmdale, California. He was born April 8, 1928 in Duluth, Minnesota. Russ was raised on a farm in Pierson, Iowa. He was a veteran in the Korean War from 1950 to 1954. After graduating from Iowa State University in 1956, he went to work for General Electric. There he was a test pilot for 33years. He started first at the Flight Test Center in Schnectady, New York, then arriving at the Edwards Air Force Base Flight Test Center in January 1963. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joy, two sons, David (Terri) and Eric, also three grandchildren, Hannah, Kayla, and Cade.
