Russell J. Pesek, 73 of Cottonwood, passed away on January 18, 2012. He was born on March 31, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Joseph Pesek and Blanche Pesek Klbecka. He played in the Komarek School Band. Russell attended Riverside Brookfield High School from 1952-1956. He served his country in the Army as Sergeant. Russell worked for Western Electric and Lucent Technologies. He was an usher at Verde Baptist Church. He loved trains and railroads memorabilia. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Russell is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Blanche Pesek. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Dianne; sons Paul Pesek (Lesley) of San Jose, CA and Michael Pesek of Sacramento, CA; daughter Laura Arnett (Matt) of Sacramento, CA; brother Joseph J. Pesek (Maria) of San Jose, CA; also Marcia Pesek of Sacramento, CA and 4 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00am at Verde Baptist Church, 102 S.
