Russell "Pat" Patrick Raycliff Hughes, 76, of Rock Island, IL died on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to Heritage 53 Lakewood. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Russell was born on October 14, 1935 in Moline, IL to Ray and Dorothy (Wisher) Hughes. He married Marjorie Martel on August 3, 1962 in Rock Island, IL. He worked as a maintenance worker for K Mart in Rock Island. Russell was an avid hunter and loved guns. He spent 6 years in the National Guard and loved playing instruments, especially the drums and guitar.
